In loving memory of Parbati Banerjee who sadly passed away on 25th November 2018
Nandini, Leena, Anita, Pradosh, Maurice, Josna, Anisha and Arin are heartbroken to announce the death of their Mother and Grandmother, Parbati Banerjee nee Chatterjee of Kolkata, India. She died peacefully at Broomfield Hospital on November 25, 2018, following surgery and complications caused by a heart condition.
Widow to the late Samiran Banerjee, Parbati was 83 years old, a graduate of Kolkata University and the University of London. She had a distinguished career as a teacher and was a fully qualified lawyer. A devoted Hindu with an open mind, Parbati loved classical music, Bengali poetry and dance.
Funeral Services were held on December 4th at Chelmsford Crematorium.
Sraddha and the celebration of her life was held on December 5th.
