Les (Leslie Stewart Squires) was born on 1st August 1951 and was brought up by his parents, with his brother, Terry, in Chiswick. Les started his career as a sound person with The Who, until he answered an ad for Tour Manager for Mr.Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band. He obtained the job and stayed with Acker for 40 marvellous years touring all around the World. Les also had his own agency called Jazzco, and successfully ran a charity Casino business with his Business partner and friend Micky Brown. After three years fighting Cancer he died on 18th November 2018 leaving his partner, Carol; and his two beloved daughters, Louise and Rebecca.
