Mr Ricks was the best sports teacher ever. He got me playing cricket for the teachers then got me trials for South London boys. With his expertise in coaching i got in and played for over 2 years. RIP Sir Ricks 🏏

Mr Ricks, was probably the best PE Teacher, I ever had.....he guided us through school, and created a very good football team.......strict, top teacher, hard as nails..... but fair, made us what we were attended Bacons 1961 to 1966....saw him a few years later.....still called him sir then
