Giorgio Ragno (2 May 1951 - 11 Jan 2019)

Condolences to all Giorgios family and friends the first time I met Giorgio 1980 he was a true gentleman with a big heart I only found out about his passing this week. Fond memories of a lovely friend. Ti Ricordi sempre con molto affetto amico mio. God Bless Giorgio x

Giorgio we are so sad that you have been taken from us so soon, our evenings at la Capanna won't be the same without you; your humour, excellent cooking, and mutual support of Nottingham Forest will always be remembered fondly. Rest well dear friend, and, as you always used to say to us on leaving,"Forza Forest"!!

Giorgio we will miss you so very much. You lovely smile, your little jokes and especially your wonderful cooking of beautiful Italian food. No one is a patch on you as a chef apart from Tony who does a great job too, he will keep the kitchen ticking over in your honour. You always cared for people and was always a true gentleman. You always looked after us as a family and we so enjoyed being in your presence at La Cappana. You treated us like friends as well as customers. RIP Giorgio you were a strong man xxxx

Rest in peace Giorgio. Thank you for all the Sundays you took Samantha and me swimming and for all the lovely dinners you made me. Dad will miss you so much xxx
