The family would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and kindness shown to them in these recent weeks of bereavement, for the beautiful flowers and kind donations made in memory of Dad.

It was humbling to be able to pass forward the donations made at Church and to the Funeral Directors to the Treetops Hospice Trust and we hope it goes someway to assisting them to continue to care and offer the same friendship to others as they did for Dad.

In loving memory of David John Whyman who sadly passed away at Derby Royal Hospital on the 11th January 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Ann, much loved dad of Penny, Connie and Melanie, a dear father-in-law to Neil and Tom and a very special grandad who will be missed so much by all of his family and friends.

The funeral service and burial will be held at All Saints Church, Ladywood Road, Kirk Hallam at 9.15am on Tuesday 29th January 2019.

Funeral reception to be held at The Cat and Fiddle Public House, Ladywood Road, Kirk Hallam.

David's family would like to acknowledge and thank all the team at Treetops Hospice Daycare Services, Risley, for the friendship and care given to David over the past couple of years. Should anyone wish to make a charitable donation, the family would like to recognise the Treetops Hospice Trust.
