In loving memory of Betty Barsby who sadly passed away on 27th January 2019. Widow to Alan, Mother to John, Grandma to Glenn and Neil, Great Grandma to Eve and Alana, Sister to Mary. She had the most wonderful sense of humour and was loved by everyone. She will be sadly missed and gave us all treasured memories.

Betty, you were such a wonderful person who brought light and joy to the lives of your family. You will be sadly missed but the memories of so many happy times will always remain. My heart goes out to John, our sons Glenn and Neil and all family and friends. Your great-grand-daughters Eve and Alana were blessed to have known you and your love and vivacious personality will I know always be remembered by them and us in the years to come. Reunited with Alan, hold hands forever and be at peace.

Betty you were such a lovely lady that we all had the pleasure of knowing. Your smile and laugh lit up the room whenever I saw you. You had a great sense of humour and a gentle soul. We will miss you dearly but you will never be forgotten. I will remember your laugh and your lovely piano playing which eve and alana loved to listen to and watch while they danced away in the back ground. You are now at rest with your beloved husband that you missed so dearly. The love you gave us will always be in our hearts and memories. Sleep tight Betty until we meet again. To my wonderful Grandma, the world will always be a little less brighter without you in it. Over the years we’ve had so many laughs. Memories of fishing at Bradgate, going on bike rides, holidays in Dartmouth and Cromer, putting up the Christmas tree and playing duets on the piano. You sat there and watched me learn to play and it was always good to know you were watching me. You always had a sense of humour and made us laugh. I will never forget a lady who didn’t need much to make her happy but gave love in abundance. A lady who would give her last pound if it made somebodies life a little easier. Thank you for making my childhood so special. I will miss you more than I can ever say. Reunited with Grandad Alan, your beloved parents Tom and Matilda and brother
