In loving memory of Alastair Freeman who sadly passed away on 28th January 2019. Alastair was an adored husband, father and grandfather. He was born in London in 1933. At 17, he joined Barclay's bank overseas division and worked all round the world. While in Nigeria he met Monica Yardley and they got married in 1958. They had two daughters; Joanna and Helen, and four grandchildren; Clíona, Juliet, George and Emma.
Alastair had many interests outside work and family. He loved rugby, walking and was an excellent bridge player. He was also very interested in World War One history and was very proud of the role his own father had played in it.
Alastair was a life long contributor to the Royal British Legion. If anyone would like to make a donation to the British Legion in honour of his memory we would be very grateful.
