In loving memory of Ann Rosalyn Finney a fantastic wife, mother and sister who sadly passed away on 22nd January 2019.

Ann and Bob met back in 1965 and a few years later on the 7th September 1968 married at St Lawrence's Church in Mansfield and in September 2018 celebrated 50 years of marriage together. On February 18th 1981 they welcomed their daughter Helen into the world.

Ann had a wonderful heart and soul and would do anything to help anyone. She was an active member of the Edwinstowe community serving as a church warden as well as being on Parochial Church Council at St. Mary's Church. Her talents with flowers were so very creative with decorating the church for weddings as well as events such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest Festival to name but a few. For many years Ann was part of the Edwinstowe Flower Club serving as Chairman on numerous occasions.

Her creative talents were endless, from baking to flower arranging to card and craft making to her newest love of sewing and quilting. Ann took to all of these skills like a duck to water and spent many of an hour in her craft room.

Ann loved her garden and spent many a day preparing seeds to be planted, cuttings to be taken or ensuring the garden was always looking at its best.

Ann & Bob had a love for travelling and over recent years especially enjoyed visiting their daughter Helen and her husband Kieran in Margaret River, Western Australia. Ann loved her time over there not only with spending quality time together as a family but also with the new friendships that she had made. She truly had friends on both sides of the world.

Family time was always important to Ann and would always remember an occasion or find time to celebrate people's birthday's and especially loved spending time with her sisters.

We will be remembering Ann on Friday 15th February 2019 at 11.30am at Sherwood Forest Crematorium, Newark Road, New Ollerton and afterwards at Launay's Restaurant Church Street, Edwinstowe.

Ann was a truly wonderful woman who will be greatly missed by many.
