In loving memory of Barbara Garner who sadly passed away on 29th January 2019 in St Barnabas Hospice in Lincoln.
She was a lovely Mum to Elaine and Helen and Grandma to Richard. Barbara was born in Gainsborough and attended Lea Road School for girls. She left school aged 14 and worked in the Gaumont Cinema in the Market Place for a while before going to work at "Attifer Works", wig makers, back then in Caskgate Street, Gainsborough. Her best friend back then was Maureen Airey and they had many fun times together. She married Norman Garner in March 1956 and moved to Burton Street where she spent all her married life. She was always cheerful and positive no matter what life dealt her. She was a very generous and considerate lady and would put other people first. She enjoyed going out with her family and playing bingo right up until Christmas 2018.
