Thinking of you all at this sad time, especially Kieran who we met through Steve on our Thursday night bike rides. He was a great grandad.

Sad news. I remember being a teenager and going drinking with Steve in Mansfield. He would always want to be playing pub games and of course, always winning. But I didn't mind it made me play better when with other mere mortals. RIP Steve and thanks for introducing me to Springsteen. You were born to play.

  • 15 years of losing at Chess and off I went to University thinking I was useless. Housemate reckoned himself for a game.
