In loving memory of Mary Rose Shead who sadly passed away on 27th January 2019.

Mary, originally from Shirebrook, lived in Mansfield Woodhouse for 53 years following her marriage to Thomas Vincent Shead. She was a creative person and many windows around the village have curtains and blinds made by Mary - or cuddly toys that she made between bringing up four children and her various part time jobs.

Mary was nanna to Charlotte, Jack and William.

Mary loved to socialise, was a great dancer and regularly went with friends for a game of bingo or was found playing one of her many favourite games on Facebook - she was particularly partial to candy crush!

The family welcomes all who wish to celebrate Mary’s life by joining us at the service at the Thoresby Room at Mansfield Crematorium at 10:15 am on Monday 18th February and afterwards at the Black Bull, Woodhouse Road, Mansfield Woodhouse
