In loving memory of Marjorie Mawby (nee Patrick) who sadly passed away on 13th February 2019

Mum was born in Desborough on the 14th November 1920 she came from a large family residing at Alexander Rd

She went to school in Desborough and after leaving school worked as a machinist in a Desborough Shoe Factory.

Mum met Dad (the late Fred Mawby) in 1938 and married him two years later.

They had 5 girls Marlene, Susan, Ann,Angela and Mandy after living at Ash Grove Desborough they moved to Braybrooke Road.

The children then married and had families of their own and Mum and Dad enjoyed their retirement together.

Both Mum and Dad after leaving Braybrooke Rd moved into a MHA Rushden Park Care Home on the 30th November 2016.

Dad sadly died on the 28th June 2017 with Mum by his bedside and holding his hand.

Although Mum found it difficult she soldiered on and tried to take part in the Church Services and activities.

Sadly Mum passed away on the 13th February 2019 peacefully.

God Bless You Mum and Keep you safe until we meet again.

Mum you have always been there for me even at your ripe old age of 98 yrs you were still telling me what to do.
I miss you so very much a light has just been blown out in my world, but I am sure has been re lit in the world where we will meet again.
