In loving memory of Ciaran Jack Shannon who sadly passed away on 9th March 2019.

Ciaran lived life to the full and the way he wanted, so many people, sat him down for a chat but he did things his way.

Always followed by a cheeky grin and a "Chill Mumsie”

Everyone is welcome to attend his funeral at St John's church Eden Park on the 5th April 2019 @ 11.30 followed by reflection at The Swan in West Wickham until 4PM.

We would ask that you click the attendance lists so that we have a rough idea of numbers.

No children under 13 (including family), anybody under 21 to be accompanied to The Swan by an appropriate adult.. ID will be required please be prepared.

We would love for all of you to share your favourite photo of Ciaran and tell stories, that we may not have heard before on this site. This page will eventually be made into a book of condolence.

Please bear in mind this is a memorial page and family will be viewing. Some of Ciaran's stories/photos may not be appropriate.

I would like to say on behalf of Myself, Chris, Aidan, Lesley, Dan, Ken, Diana, Bill and Ellen we are grateful for everyones support it has been overwhelming.

We've run out of vases and not sure Ive thanked everyone for the flowers. Thanks you all so much.

The funeral will be STRICTLY family flowers only, (happy for single stems from friends)

My amazing work colleagues have set up a go fund me page.

The funds will be split 50/50 with funeral costs and South Norwood Victory club, amateur boxing, Ciaran attended for a while and we are hoping they will be able to offer lessons to his immediate friends during this tough time.

Please click here if you would like to make a donation in Ciaran's memory.

Our heartfelt sympathy to all of the family and to everyone who loved him.

Ciaran we remember you as a beautiful blond haired boy on summer visits with Aidan and Bailey to stay with your Nan here in Yorkshire. Together with our Ben we enjoyed great days out but especially remember visits to Hornsea beach on cold afternoons. You would roll about in the waves until your lips were blue, come out for a sausage roll and then back into the sea while we huddled together on the beach trying to keep warm but admiring your enthusiasm.

And when you heard Roy was celebrating his 75th birthday you commented "Hmmm I thought he was about 50" No one before or since has taken 25 years off his age.

So many happy memories of you
Fly high Ciaran
