In loving memory of Geoffrey Smith who sadly passed away on 18th March 2019 husband of Linda.

Geoff was born in Lincoln on 9th September 1957 and sadly passed away at his home on the morning of 18th March 2019. Geoff had been unwell for some time but only recently diagnosed with cancer.

He was loved by so many people, his wife, family and friends. The customers he met when he ran his own landscaping business also have fond memories of Geoff.
He loved his family, his home and garden and was a fan of West Ham United and Lincoln City. On Saturday afternoons he watched Jeff Stelling on Sky sports football - his chill out time.

Geoff was a loving, caring and hard working person and his illness and passing came to us all as a great shock.

Love always ❤️

RIP Geoff xxxxx

  • Donated £225.75 to Pancreatic Research and £225.75 to Marie Curie for some reason both charities have acknowledged receipt but Funeral Zone haven’t updated the donations ?!

Overwhelmed by all the messages from everyone after Geoff died loved by so many 🥰
Can’t believe how quick pancreatic cancer takes our loved ones from us and since Geoff died I’ve heard so many similar stories.
The Marie Curie nurses were so supportive in Geoff’s last few days.

Geoff’s funeral will be a celebration of his life so there’s no set dress code. For those who would like to pay their last respects on the 10th April there is no set dress code just your favourite colour or black if you would prefer.
Love Linda x

  • Such a shock although I do know he had been ill. Especially thinking of Dean and Mitchell and his grandchildren, not forgetting all the Smith family. So so sad. R I P Geoff Babs, Tom and Ben. 🕯 🕯 🕯 x x x
