Peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 2nd aged 85 years, Evelyn (nee Elliott). The devoted wife of the late Jim. The cherished mam of Susan, Paul, Kim and mother-in-law of Stuart and Vivienne. The treasured nana of Victoria, Rachel, Mark, Emily, the great-nana of Paige, Esther, Lydia, Ethan, Pippa, Elijah and great-great-nana of Leo. Evelyn was much-loved by family, friends and all who knew her. Please meet on Thursday April 11th for service in Bank Head Independent Methodist Church at 1:15pm. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Dubmire British Legion for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie. All enquiries to Andrew Grey Funeral Directors, 9 North View Terrace, Houghton Tel: 0191 3857213.
