In loving memory of Callum Taylor who sadly passed away on 7th April 2019
Callum leaves behind Mum (Laura) Dad (Neil) and little sister (Ava-Grace)
as well as Mamma’s (Sue and June) Grandad’s (Colin and Adrian) Aunties (Claire, Jess and Jordan), Uncle’s (Richard Lewis and Chris) and cousin’s (Bella and Jude) plus the rest of his extended family.

Callum was a very special and unique young man, with a heart of gold, he was funny, kind, helpful and caring, he was a bright and independent young man who showed great integrity and was never one to follow a crowd, nothing meant more to him than his family, who he was immensely protective and proud of.

Callum was a joy to be around and despite life’s obstacles he fought the battle of life hard, he was a wonderful son and big brother and no-one made him prouder than his little sister with whom he shared an incredible bond.

Although due to Callum’s good nature he was often exploited by his “so called friends” he managed to find true friendship in the months before his passing and was truly excepted for who he really was, for this I will be hugely thankful for eternity.

Callum attended the Island Project for around 3 years before his passing. The Island Project is a not for profit alternative education provider for young people who struggle in a typical classroom environment, Callum flourished here and particularly enjoyed working with animals in which he was a natural, he was studying for a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care at the time of his passing, Callum loved his time here where he was treated with the upmost respect and could really be himself.

Immediate family flowers only please donations are welcome for the below but please do not feel obliged to.

As well as donations to Papyrus that can be made through this site via just giving we would be most grateful for any donations in Callum’s memory towards the Island Project to help them carry on their great work with young people who have often been failed and perhaps have a lasting tribute to Callum.

We would also be grateful for any donations towards giving Callum the send of he deserves.

Donations can be made in cash, by paypal to laura_taylor35@aol.co.uk or bank transfer to Barclays bank sortcode 202525 account number 23932435, please make sure if giving a donation you state whether you would like your donation to go to Papyrus, The Island Project or towards Callum’s funeral, or if you don’t mind it will be split between the 3 (proof will be provided)

I am sure you all have memories of when you crossed paths with Callum please keep those memories because those are the ones that can never be taken away.

Please feel free to light a candle or leave a comment or a photograph, we will be purchasing a memory book so we can keep them all.

Rest in peace Callum, we will always love you, we miss you but can take some comfort in the fact you are now at peace, although losing you has obviously devastated me I love you enough to respect the fact you are where you wanted to and needed to be and no longer have to live a life of pain and difficulty, you were too good for this world son.

I love you son, I will try and be strong and carry on for your little sister as I know that is what you would want me to do, I will make sure your death will not be in vain and will, in the future make sure I help others in a similar situation as you were, like I know you would want me to, in tribute to yourself.

You will always be with us, I LOVE YOU
Fly high son your memory will live on.

Callum I have nothing but pride and admiration for you, you were a remarkable young man and a true inspiration, you were so brave and fought so hard, I was so lucky to have had you as a son for 18 Years, I know how difficult life was for you, all you wanted was to be treated with the respect you deserved.
Reading all the lovely messages about how kind, caring, funny you were etc fills me with huge pride, that's my boy.
I love you so much and miss you terribly but I am comforted by the fact you are at peace now, people can talk about you all they like and say/think what they want, we know whats true and that's all that matters, nothing and no one can hurt you now.
I truly believe in Karma.
Not long now and I can see your beautiful face again, hold your hand, stroke your face and kiss your lips, we will give you the send of you deserve.
I love you son, you were too good for this world xxxx

I worked with Cal for about a year at the Island Project, he was so helpful, ready for anything and filled the animal projects I had with him with laughter due to his brilliant wit and one liners. He was kind, hard working and funny! I have so many memories of Callum which will always be remembered, he will be greatly missed. I know how much he cared about his family and my thoughts are with you all. Xx

The day Reece & Callum ended up in the sea fully clothed and then had to strip off to travel home as they were wet through & covered in mud! We all had a lovely day together. We will treasure those memories forever. Xxx
