David Owens (23 May 1953 - 12 Apr 2019)

£40 kindly donated by Aaron Macca Mcneil from his winning football bet whilst in Portugal, thanks nips.

16 of us went to Portugal to play for the newly formed David Owens Memorial Trophy to play golf in honour and tribute to our amazing Dad. On the tour, we did a traditional fining session where we would normally fine a few quid per person for misdemeanours!! However, this was no ordinary session as we raised an amazing 395 Euros to donate !! Well done the Phoenix lads. It was very fitting treat the first winner was Dan Owens!! RIP Dad, always in our thoughts xx

Phoenix fines raised over 400 euros at the David Owen's trophy amazing effort guys. I am putting the coin bit on which was 33 pounds .
