Freda Elizabeth Shutler (6 Nov 1948 - 21 Apr 2019)

In loving memory of Freda Elizabeth Shutler who sadly passed away on 21st April 2019.

Freda Shutler (Nee Grimley) was born at Gap Stile in Abbots Bromley in November 1948 as one of eight children in the Grimley household.

She loved the village and in her 70 years she lived at several locations in Abbots Bromley, eventually settling in Seedcroft where she would live with John for more than 40 years.

Over the years her Seedcroft home would be filled with love and laughter as Freda invested her passion in what she valued the most - family.

As a young woman Freda worked as an accountant for Bagshaws until she became a mother to Amy in 1983. Later employment would see Freda take on cleaning, Dinner Lady and Receptionist roles. Her organisational skills were put to good use at The Surgery.

Following her retirement in 2008 she and John spent all their time together - especially enjoying discovering new garden centres and tea rooms. More recently Freda enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her Granddaughter, Emily.

Freda was a kind, caring, beautiful woman. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
