I spent many happy days at Brenda's home playing Sindy dolls with Moya. She was a really funny, clever and talented lady and I loved looking at her photographs from her acting days. She made us great beans on toast with gorgeous butter and we had fun chasing the odd escaped pigeon. I will always remember them fun days. Love Lynne (Mcloughlin)

Brenda got me into teaching and gave me all of her resources she kept when she retired. She was such a kind lady who helped me in so many ways, I will never forget her at my nana’s house. She will always be known as Aunty Brenda to me. RIP xxx

What a wonderful teacher she was. When my Lain struggled with his reading she got him into in her fuz buz books and he never looked back. She was brilliant with all her children as she called them. Gone but you will never be forgotten by the children of Gwersyllt. RIP lovely lady.

I worked with Brenda at Gwersyllt CP school for many years, where she was an excellent teacher. As well as being colleagues, Brenda and I became good friends. She was a kind, understanding lady who had such a great sense of humour. What a character! She will be greatly missed. My sympathies to all the family. X
