In loving memory of Stephan John HAWKES who sadly passed away on 20th April 2019

Stephan was born and grew up in Luton, Bedfordshire. He moved to West Cornwall when he was 2o and lived there until about 12 years ago when he moved to Devon, living for the last seven years in Exeter.

Stephan was a gifted artist and painted some beautiful landscapes, still life and portraits. He loved military modelling and spent many hours painting miniature military figurines. He also loved to follow Exeter FC, Tai Chi and visiting his family in Australia.

His artwork and memory will live on long after his passing.

Well I am gutted you have gone mate. Away games won’t be the same without you. If I had a bad day or morning at a home game or away and then I see you. You made it better by having a good laugh. Rest in peace Steve you will be missed

Eternal Rest Grant Unto You Stephan and May Perpetual Light Shine Upon You Stephan and May You Rest In Peace. Stephan I have really enjoyed our holidays together in Australia, England and Wales. I will miss your smile, your wonderful knowledge of history, your fantastic, brilliant artwork and your painting skills with thousands of miniature warhead gaming figures. I will also especially miss your sweet tooth and love of desserts and pancakes and cream. From Margaret
