Mo’s life was a short life but most definitely a good life
He was loved by many people and will be extremely missed

We knew Mo at The Joiners for only the last couple of years of his life. He was a character here too but was always a Bermondsey boy at heart.
It was a privilege to know him and truly heart warming to hear all the stories of his earlier life. He was well loved by all the regulars and staff at The Joiners. We are having a drink here for our hero Mo today. Our thoughts are with his family and Bermondsey friends.

I have been a regular at The Joiners Arms for nearly 40 years and have met some real characters during that time. Mo was one of them. He was a genuine Bermonsey Boy who, like me and many others, spoke his mind despite the restrictions of political correctness. He will be greatly missed by the staff and his friends in the Joiners. May his soul rest in peace.
