In loving memory of Jack Lomax who sadly passed away on 15th May 2019. Loving husband of 60 years to Pauline, devoted dad to Carol and Paul, wonderful father in law to Elle and John, amazing grandad to Jason, Rachel, Charlotte, Olivia and Jack and the fun-loving great grandad to Ava and Lacey.

Jack was a real character and left an impression on all. He was a charmer and loved his family immensely. His face would light up when any of us would pay a visit and he lived for his time spent with his grandchildren/great grandchildren. He spoilt them rotten and loved every minute he spent with them. This year he celebrated 60 years of marriage with Pauline and he had a super time at his party, dancing the night away. He was a kind, caring, generous and thoughtful, a true gentlemen that touched all our hearts. Jack was incredibly funny, with a cracking sense of humour, having a certain way of making everybody smile. The memories we hold as a family will be cherished forever and continue to make us smile everyday. He will be missed dearly by all.

In his final days Jack suffered with several illnesses and spent his time in hospital. Unfortunately the change we saw in Jack was from Dementia which was heart-breaking for all to see. As a family we would kindly ask that should you wish to make a tribute/contribution to celebrate Jack's life that it could be made to Dementia UK. This charity helps the families of patients who are suffering with Dementia and given our experiences we feel any contribution will go a long way in trying to make these experiences less painful to families.

For anybody who would wish to attend the funeral to pay respect to Jack and join us in celebrating his fantastic life of 89 years it will be held on Thursday 23rd May at 3pm, West Chapel, Overdale Crematorium, Overdale Drive, Chorley New Road, Bolton, BL1 5BU. Followed by his wake at Victory Reform Club, 25, Victory Street, Off Chorley Old Road, Bolton, BL1 4JA.

For anybody who would like to make tribute to Jack prior/after the funeral please contact Deighan's Funeral Parlour, 81 Mason Street, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 5RB. Tel: 01204 694999
