In loving memory of Derek 'Del' Larkin who sadly passed away on 17th May 2019 aged 61 years.
He leaves behind his wife Maureen and two daughters Ashley and Lee-Ann who were with him in his final moments. Del was not ready to leave this world and fought so incredibly bravely right until the end. He endured a short battle with cancer but did so with such courage and determination to make the most of the precious time he had left. Del also leaves his three beautiful grandchildren Ryan, Aimee and Isabelle who are all devastated at the loss of their funny, cheeky and loving grandad. Del entrusted his son-in-laws Frankie and Kieran to look after his girls once he had gone.
The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday 7th June at Medway Crematorium, Robin Hood Lane, Bluebell Hill, ME5 9QU.
The wake will be held in the upstairs bar of The Crown, Rochester High Street where you are invited to come along for some food and to share a drink and your memories of Del with his family.
We have requested that should you wish to do so, in place of flowers please donate to The Wisdom Hospice via this page as we know this is what Del would have wanted. Del was cared for at home by his wife and girls but the help and support the family received from the hospice was exceptional.
