I miss you Pops, saw an English version of you at Clacton and when I treated him to his lunch, fella said really. His name was Clive and even put his head to one side like you did.

Going to the coast makes me think of you diving in the sea and watched The Octopus teacher, such a lovely creature.

Giovanni reminds us all of you, his hands are expressive and he ushers you and when he stands holding them behind him. He is also very devilish and likes your photo and has given you a pretend drink several times lol x
Love you Dad x

sending deepest sympathies to Reno's family, especially Christine, Janie, Jennifer and Reno Junior.
i had the pleasure of working with Reno in Steptoe and Son, which beyond the doubt was the best job in the world. Reno made everyone who came to the market welcome, he was always there with a smile, telling rude jokes, entertaining both those who worked with him and customers with lots of funny stories.
Reno also scared the death out of me when he would drive us to work. the cars him and Fred had were proper bangers, with holes in the floors and roof and rust all the way through. Reno was also not one for indicating when driving saying "they should know where i'm going"
Reno and Fred's relationship was unique, they squabbled like an old couple, but loved each other so much.
i can only imagine the heartbreak you are all going through. but hopefully the loving memories people share about Reno will make you smile.
i will raise a glass tonight in memory of a special man who was loved and respected by many.
sending my love to you all
Sharon xxx

Uncle Reno, It has been my journey for the last 7 years looking for the truth. It is just recently I found some of it. I never got to grow up with or meet my biological family. It is through DNA that I found you and my father though just that bit too late. May you RIP and tell Joe I was looking for him. God Bless you and your siblings waiting on the other side.

It's with a sad heart that I say goodbye to Reno. Such a big character and personality will be missing as well as his big heart. I will never forget his jokes and his humour and his love of crabs. Such a sad loss and love to all those that he has left behind. Lots of love Rodene x x x

Reno Navarro was one of a kind,
His memory lives on in those left behind,
An empty place at the table where he used to sit,
Regaling us with stories full of his usual wit,
Stories of events from fishing on the river,
Forever remembered as a natural giver,
Men like Reno, god only made a few,
Forever missed by all that he knew.

Sleep peacefully Reno xx

Mr Navarro, πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ή
We never met but I felt we had, your daughter Janie and I went to secondary school together and were in the same house. Through her I get a sense of who you are because she is you...You’ve left an amazing daughter her strength shines through and that’s down to you! She will be missing you, but you are a part of her and will always be in her heart.
May you rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen.
