In loving memory of our amazing mum who sadly passed away on Wednesday 29th May.
Mum was strong beyond words and never ever wanted to give up, even at the very end. Mum’s love for her children, grandchildren and those around her kept her going.
After numerous hospital admissions over the past few years, mum’s health sadly deteriorated, resulting in a long hospital admission and transfer to Myton Hospice at the beginning of May.
We are raising funds in memory of our amazing mum for Myton Hospice.
Myton Hospice looked after our mum and family with the utmost care and compassion in the weeks we were there. Myton enabled the family to be with mum day and night so that she was never ever alone. We will be forever grateful for that.
If your intention was to send a floral tribute for mum’s funeral, mum requested that donations be made in her memory to Myton Hospice, in place of these.
We will have collection envelopes at mum’s funeral but for anybody that cannot attend but wishes to donate, you can do this securely through this page in the ‘donate’ section. I know the money raised will make a huge difference to families using Myton’s services, just like us.
It was mum's wish that those in attendance would celebrate her life at the Irish Club and stay to enjoy some of her favourite Motown music

Literally one of the nicest ladies I have ever met, so heartbreaking what you all went through but she showed so much courage and has been an inspiration to all. I am so saddened by the fact we have to say goodbye but so privileged to have known her. The best friend my mum could of ever wished for and will be deeply missed. Thinking of you all x xx
