Ryan Matthew Shepherd (3 Apr 1999 - 3 Jun 2019)

With deepest sorrow we announce that our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson and family member, Ryan, aged 20, passed away suddenly on Monday 3rd June 2019.

Ryan was a loving, gentle, caring and selfless soul who will be sadly missed by all

Although only 20 at the time of his death, Ryan affected many people in his lifetime .

Those who knew Ryan, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Ryan studied at the Gedling school, leaving with 13 GCSEs. He established a firm circle of friends who have remained steadfast and loyal. He studied for one year at NUAST (Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology) undertaking chemistry, physics, biology and maths. He followed this with two years at NCN on a public services course passing with Distinctions.

He started work at KFC, working with several friends. He then went on to work at Dusk Till Dawn casino as a croupier, and recently he started work at Hillarys in Colwick.

***His present will become our past, but his past will always be a present.***

Those who wish to make a contribution in Ryan‘s name in lieu of flowers may do so to ‘Just One Ocean’. A worthwhile charity dedicated to raising awareness of ocean issues and protecting ocean ecosystems, something Ryan was very passionate about.

Ties and formal dress are not necessary.

Loved beyond words, Missed beyond measure.
