In loving memory of Pat Chesterton who passed away peacefully on 25th June 2019 at North Devon District Hospital after a long battle with Cancer. Pat was a much loved Mother, Grandmother and Wife. She touched the hearts of many she came in contact with throughout her life, working with disadvantaged children and young adults. Her work at Combe Martin Museum filled her later years with a great sense of pride. She was truly inspirational and will leave a huge void in so many lives.
Please give to a charity chosen by Pat rather than flowers. We are under strict orders NO BLACK as Pat wanted this to be a celebration of her life. Please go directly to North Devon Crematorium.
I only recently just found out my friend/neighbour Pat had died, I felt very worried for a while, so I thought I’d try to see if she was ok. Very sad to hear she has gone and it’s so hard to believe. She was one of few people who understood me and I’m grateful to have spent the time I got to with her. Xx
