In loving memory of the late Peter John Offiler who sadly passed away on 2nd April 2015, aged 76.
Peter grew up with his siblings, Wilfed, Vera, Fred, Robert, George, Lawrence and Barry. Peter joined the Genadier Guards in 1959 in which he served in the Cameroons. after serving for three years Peter left and after a while settled as a print engineer.
Peter married Patricia Beckworth in 1960 and they went onto have 3 children Mark, Stuart and Joanne, 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
Peter loved his family and especially taking them on holidays to the seaside. Peter loved the seaside that much, he decided that him and Patricia should buy a caravan down Ingoldmells where they spent many happy times.
Peter also enjoyed his holidays abroad, and it is in Cyprus that Peter took ill and had to be flown home by air ambulance to QMC, where he spent the last few weeks of his life.
During Peters time in hospital we still managed to have a few laughs at our good times together, we even had a couple of sing songs.
We should all feel blessed that we had Peter in our lives, a true gentleman to the very end and glad we had time to say goodbye. R.I.P Dad, till we meet again, save me the first dance, Joanne

My thoughts go out to Pat, Jo, Stuart and Mark at this sad time. Pete has given me some great childhood memory's I will cherish forever. I bet he and my Uncle Alan are having a right good catch up. My condolences to you all
