My Auntie Betty, always cheerful and chatty even in the face of adversity. I shall miss hearing her happy voice over the telephone.
Remembering good times at Long Eaton every summer with a smile.

Just a little poem for you,

There are nanas to look up to
Nanas who are wise
Nanas who are good friends
Those who advise
There are nanas who are loveable Nanas who are fun
And then there is you your all these in one

Dear Betty, such a good friend and workmate who I had known since I was 17! She was only coming to work for a couple of years and ended up staying for 12.
Betty was always cheerful and would soon be reduced to giggling about earlier times; in spite of her arthritis and blindness.
Betty, I shall miss you very much. I hope that you are at peace.
