Sue and I had some fun times. In particular the Shanghai Shuffle, which I doubt any of us will ever forget and a night out myself and Sue had in Glasgow. Before going in to the office I met Sue at the hotel to make sure she had a room on a low floor and to take up her bag. We had a quiet evening planned so for the first time, pre-paid for breakfast. It started with a very civilised early meal with Joanne Lennox and then we decided to find a pub that was showing the Everton v Spurs match. It was a very rough pub but the people were friendly, so we stayed far longer than planned and although we declined them, had several drinks bought for us (we thought it would be rude not to drink them though) Needless to say Sue missed her breakfast the next morning, and made do with a Glaswegian hangover cure - Irn Bu and Ready Salted crisps (which Sue said, actually worked)

Sue said that we were opposites in many ways, but we got on really well. Sue often spoke of her family and friends and was very proud of Tom. Sue made time for everyone and will be greatly missed. I am so sorry I was unable to attend the funeral but I did think of Sue and her family and friends on the day.

I feel so blessed that fate brought our paths together, in 2011 I was told I was moving from my old team to join Sue team, the move filled with fear, not because I had heard anything bad about Sue! it was just fear of change.
From the very first time I met Sue, I knew we would get along great me being Irish and Sue being from Liverpool it was non stop Chat from the start. My one to one's were 20% work and 80% about me and my family and of course Sue would always talk about her wonderful hubby Ged her boy Tom her Mum and Dad and all her family. Due to me being a cat lady the fur babies always got a mention too her beloved Socks.
When we got together for our Team Meetings it was always professional but great fun we were always laughing, our team meetings were always followed by a night out for a meal and a few drinks, when checking into the Royal Oak at Sevenoaks Sue would always say " time for a swifty before check in".
One of the most memorable outings was in Glasgow at a Chinese Buffet place which double up as a Karaoke and it had a dressing up box which Sue and I found very funny!
That night will stay with me for ever it was clear the Glasgow team frequented this place a lot going by their keenness to get to the Microphone but Sue and Jackie Morgan gave their all with "Ferry across the Mersey !" which we loved. I have some great photos of that night which I can share although they are a bit dark but that did sum up the place its self!
Sue, and I would often laugh about me going to the Priory to light a candle for her I had to point out I was going to the Alyesford Priory near me and not "The Priory" for rehab but we both agreed with the pressure of work and life I could end up there!. I can still hear Sue in her Liverpool accent "Jackie Finnerty" what drama has happened to you now !! I will continue to go to Aylesford Priory to pray for Sue and her family and I will continue to light a candle. Sue will be truly missed by me and many but she will never be forgotten. RIP Sue xx
