Brian was born on 2nd June 1937; his mother Liz and father George. He had a brother Mick who sadly passed away when he 19.
He met the love of his life Doreen when he was 18 and she was 15 at a local picture house. They were married for 57 years. They had a son called Michael who too died suddenly aged 47 and a daughter Sue. They have Grandchildren, Laura, Jack and Joe and a great grandchild on the way.
Brian first worked as engineer at Ericssons and he then became a Shop Steward for the Union and convenor at Plessey and Full Time officer for TGWU in 1976.
During these years he ran a local football team for almost 30 years and darts teams.
Nottingham Forest Football Club was also played a major part in his life.
Brian would do anything for anybody and be support a friend in need. His family was his life and in the latter years he became a carer for Doreen.
Lets celebrate Brian's life and if you have any pictures comments or memories to add please do so as he was a very special man to us all.

My deepest sympathy to Doreen, Sue, Steve and family. I look back with very fond memories of Brian, Mick and all the team members who are sadly no longer with us, the five a side and six a side tournaments, at Carlton Forum, Rushcliffe and nights at the Pheasant. One of the nicest people I have ever had the good fortune to meet and befriend, you will be sadly missed x

I met Brian 14 seasons ago when I acquired my first Forest season ticket. This year I was uncertain if I could afford one, you guessed it he offered to lend me the money.
The last time I spoke to him was to tell him I managed to get one, thanks for the offer and I would see him in August.
I'm devastated he wont be there, but you bet I'll be roaring them on for the both of us, good night and God bless you lovely man xx
