My Dear Glennis, such a wonderful person and true friend for many years. So, so sorry that I did not see you in your later years, but special memories will never leave me. Our long conversations late into the night catching a few hours sleep before the children and our husbands woke . Such happy happy times. Love you forever. Wish I could hear you say "Heh up me duck" just one more time. R.I.P

Oh my , where to start , we met The Platts family in the early 70's at Little Canada Pontins Isle of White . I have so many lovely memories that I could share but one memory that's stands out with me is the events of a lovely holiday on the Gower South Wales.
After a glorious day at the beach we returned to our Caravan park , later that evening after watching what we as kids thought were UFOs ( actually light aircraft landing at a local airport ) at the small on sight park , we all went back to the
Caravan to find Glennis and my Mum with their usual tipple of Gordon's Gin .. They were quite unaware that we thought it would be funny to put their Gin in the tea pot and fill said bottle with water! We sat waiting for one of them to realise that the drink they had actually poured tonic over was tap water...... It didn't take long I hasten to add

We worked with with Glennis through countless elections and far too many Party Conferences!! On retirement our chinwags covered the calamitous and humerous moments and kept us in stitches for hours. Glennis had a fabulous career and also a wonderful retirement with Seddon and her family. That is how we will remember her. With much love and laughter. Lots of love Kathy and Steve

I first met Glennis in 1992 when I came to work at the East Midlands Labour Party. We became friends and working with her in the office was always great fun. I am shocked and sad that she has gone? She was a wonderful person who will be missed by Seddon and all her family and friends.
