So sad to here of Auntie Vera's passing, Vera was our dads (George Adcock) cousin but always Auntie Vera to all of us children. We always looked forward to her visits to South Croxton on Saturday mornings namely to attend her mothers grave and always dropped in for a cup of tea, we would listen out for those high heels
clicking down the path and be in ore of her made up face with her lipstick and powder. On entering the house
she would always say " what a bloody god forsaken place South Croxton was" we would always burst out laughing as she always swore. If she had a few shilling to spare she would leave a couple for us kids. With fond memories of Vera
from All The Adcock Children (formerly of South Croxton.

My dear nana Vera, you will never ever be forgotten, always in our hearts, you was taken away from us so sudden but at least your never going to be in pain anymore.
Always had good memory's with you, even the time when me and my sister was playing hairdressers on grandad dougs hair and got the comb stuck and then you walk in like Mrs doutfire with your dressing gown on fire,so dangerous but was so funny and me and my sister couldn't stop laughing.we will never forget that.you gave us all good memory's.
Love you forever nana Vera xxxx
