I have very fond childhood memories of Grazyna who was always so kind and welcoming when I went to play with Natalie and Simon at their house in West End and Claygate. I especially remember her radiant smile. She was a dear friend to my Mum Hazel, so I hope they are having a good catch-up now. RIP brave and beautiful Grazyna X

Grazyna was an amazing lady who, even though she had had so much pain in her life, always looked beautiful and kept her sense of humour .

So sorry to hear the sad news and of course our deepest condolences to Ron, Natalie and all members of the family.

Like some others we go way back and I remember first meeting Grazyna at our Thursday card school of all places - radiant and freshly arrived from Poland.

The last time we saw her (some 40 years plus later) she looked as vivacious as ever – quite amazingly undiminished by all that had been thrown at her along the way.

All our love

Sue and Mick Hardy

So sad to see you go Grazyna, our lovely neighbour. You will be missed. Your were always so friendly and uplifting when we saw you. From the first moment we met you.
I remember when my daughter Anna was born, within hours we had received a wonderful card. It was the very first we got and I thought at the time how thoughtful this is and what lovely gesture. We had only just moved in the house and barely new each other. I was very touched and will never forget.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron, Natalie & family and all of the family and friends Grazyna leaves behind and who's heart she touched.

Hi Ron,

Just to say we are all thinking of you at this sad time,
Grazyna always radiated such kindness and warmth, always made a fuss of my girls when she saw them, she was a genuinely lovely lady.
Mark, Myself and the girls were at Lyme Regis last week, and a candle has been lit on the Cobb ( Lyme Regis sea front ) on Sunday 30th August 2015 (candlesonthecobb.org) in Grazyna's memory xxx

I first met Grazyna upon her arrival in the UK in March 1966. Her only words of English were 'Yes' & 'No'
Decades of warm friendship and wonderful memories ensued. There was shared heartache, too. I shall miss her lovely, outgoing personality after almost 50 years. I am consoled to hear that her ashes will be placed in the grave of Simon and my old school buddy Ron. Pain free peace at last, dear Grazyna. xx

When we moved to Claygate in 1984, next door to Grazyna, I had no idea that I would find a friendship that would last for over 30 years. She knocked on our door within an hour of our arrival to introduce herself, complete with tea and biscuits and a great welcome. It was only six months after the death of her first husband Ron, yet despite her obvious grief she was full of warmth and included us into her circle of friends and family.
With the loss of Simon just a short time later, none of us could imagine how Grazyna and Natalie could possibly cope. She was incredibly brave and courageous then, as she was in the last 15 years.
A few years after the loss of Simon, Grazyna found new happiness with Ron and we were all delighted. In 2000 came her diagnosis, and again she gave it all she had fighting it to the end. Ron, Natalie and her family by her side all the way.
Her family was her strength being extremely proud of her beautiful Natalie and especially her grandson Lewis, together with her brothers and family in Poland.
Grazyna was a very social, vibrant and fun person to be with, - a people person- , and I consider myself so fortunate that she was my friend. She was always there for me and I dare to hope that I helped her too. My sympathy, love and support go out to Ron, Natalie and Lewis, - and her brothers Bogdan and Andrzej. I know I will miss her and our friendship so much, but I have 31 years of memories of a very special, lovely lady.
