Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Everything was handled with a caring and professional attitude. Cathy was particularly kind and efficient. She kept us informed at every stage and organised everything so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Also Steve conducted the service very well. He took consideration of all our thoughts and memories of Rebecca. Mark and the coffin bearers were suitably respectful. The flowers were classy and just right for Rebecca. All in all, the service from all concerned was perfect, thank you very much.

Alan being the 1st point of contact, was always most helpful & polite. He guided me through the whole process showing great care & attention. He was patient & understanding whilst waiting for relevant paperwork, due to delays in registration.
The funeral directors showed care & compassion. I was contacted by them the day before, to explain the procedure, that was very kind & informative. Their professionalism on the day was greatly appreciated.
