Yvonne who is the first contact at Bitterne funeral care was kind and understanding she recommended Paul Hancocks as a celebrant who spoke beautifully and with feeling Grace who was our funeral director carried out her duties beautifully and as her name suggests gracefully  very happy with their services

The actual funeral went very smoothly and as planned. All of the people involved on this day were very helpful and considerate. Unfortunately, the lead up to the funeral was not so smooth. Repeated phone calls had to be made to ascertain information and the telephone was often not answered and there was no facility in which to leave a message. I am still waiting for the telephone call to inform me that the ashes can now be collected.

I am so pleased we chose Bitterne park funeral care for my uncles funeral. Yvonne was amazing from start to finish and was always so helpful and welcoming. On the day of the funeral Grace who greeted us was also friendly and attentive. Lastly we were also pleased with the chosen celebrant Dave Adcock who gave a perfect service. Thank you X

On visiting the funeral home myself and my sister found the experience very unsettling.
We had no privacy for the following reason’s, workman booked in at the same time as our appointment to discuss my mothers arrangements, door was left open to meeting room, the lady dealing with us was also sorting out the workmen.
On top of this she even answered the telephone on 2 occasions while in the middle of going through the funeral arrangements, all of which was very upsetting and disrespectful considering our circumstances.
One other thing that was very disappointing, was we had chosen the wood finish for mum’s coffin I.e. Cherry and on the day my sister pointed out to me that it was not cherry as per our instructions but Maple.
On the day of the service the lady’s and gentlemen were very respectful and polite.
