An excellent experience from start to finish. Communication was clear, helpful and compassionate throughout. I would recommend Tadley Funeralcare as they provide a first class service that caters both to the needs of the departed as well as for their loved ones.

Initial need for assistance was awful. The paramedic contacted coop to arrange collection of my husband from his home address. Nobody made contact with us to reassure me that he was on the list to be collected. I had to sit with my dead husband for almost 6 hours until he was collected. We contacted out of hours and was reassured we would get a telephone call. We had a telephone call about 25 mins prior to them arriving.
Our home address is on a park home site, small homes that usually cannot accommodate a stretcher.
A small woman and an average man attended collection. They brought a stretcher inside. This was not appropriate to move my father from his armchair. The pair attempted to pick him up and lay him on the stretcher, some equipment or stronger people were needed. Once on the stretcher and covered over they stood the stretcher up, at this point I grabbed my husbands head as it flopped forward, also the stretcher began bending in the middle like it was about to collapse. They then had to get down 6/7 steps which they bumped down. All very undignified and hard to witness.
Thankfully, Jeanette at Tadley coop was lovely and helpful and reassured us to stay with coop for the funeral arrangements. We had previously decided after the trauma of the collection that we would transfer to another funeral director. Thank you Jeanette.

We didn’t ask a huge amount from Tadley Funeralcare, but they carried it out very professionally from start to finish. Recommended.
