Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I’m overall very happy with the service I received . But when I got to the crematorium I was informed that the music had NOT been ordered so our reflection song Sweet 16 by foster and Alan was not able to be played!! They only had a version from another artists. This was very disappointing

The support and staff were excellent. Unfortunately a card with a poem written by my mum, left with the Coop, was not with the flowers on top of the coffin on the day as requested. This caused my mum more distress on an already difficult day.

Excellent service from the Funeral arranger. She supported us all the way through the process and stayed in touch.
The Funeral director was also excellent. He looked after us all on the day and even checked in a few days later to check how we were.
