Chatham co op funeral services were an absolutely wonderful  the staff were kind caring and compassionate. They understood how I felt and I am very grateful for their kindness and understanding and their professionalism. I have and always would recommend them to my family and friends. I just want to say a very very big thank you to the staff they have been wonderful.

With regards to planning the funeral for my father, We arranged meeting to discuss plans and what was offered, What we would like for my father. Went away to discuss either essential funeral or tailored funeral with the added cost. My wishes for my father Was for my father to be carried by the coop funeral staff, as stated in paperwork that either family members "our colleagues from coop or wheel beired so we decided to go for the tailored funeral so my father could of been carried. So for the cost of the tailored funeral to get what we wished for we added o more, This was not stated from the 3 multiple meetings I had at the funeral home otherwise. Untill the day before funeral that the funeral director rang to discuss and finer detail that my father most probably won't be carried due to having 6 members of staff and having a risk assessment done with my father and coffin due to staff safety. If this would have been discussed before hand before paying for the funeral then I wouldn't of gone for the tailored funeral Unfortunately this should not be stated in your paperwork for a tailored funeral if i cannot be done, vulnerable time or not. Do not offer services and take money without fulfilling all requirements if meet.

    Verity dealt with us at our local branch and was very kind and caring and explained the many options we had in choosing what we wanted to be the perfect service for my late brother, they did an outstanding job and made sure everything went to plan which it did and kept in contact in the days up to the funeral. The day we viewed my brother I wasn't going to see him as I believed he would look different and didn't want to have that memory and Verity explained he looks like he was sleeping and normal colour so I did see him and glad she said that otherwise I wouldn't of seen him and regretted it. We also met Steve, the man who escorted my brother to the crematorium in the hearse, and all the other staff showed nothing but respect for us and for my late brother. A very kind and caring place and glad with our choice to use them for the arrangements. I would use them again if needed in the future.

    Appt to arrange the funeral was carried out well. It was the production of the order of service and the slide show that caused some issues, wrong email address for submitting photos and no support in setting up slide show. Vicar given wrong date for funeral in email and funeral director had wrong house number. Issues that should not have occurred and I felt the staff were dismissive on the day I checked to see if everything was in order.

    We would of preferred to have dealt with only one person throughout the arrangement.  We in total spoke to 5 different people.  
    Room where arrangements were made could of been decluttered and cleaner.

    All the staff that l communicated with at the Chatham branch were so helpful and professional at all times.
    Mark made sure everything ran smoothly, overseeing music seating and donation box.
    I know l will be in safe hands when it's time for my funeral.
    I am glad my husband and l bought Funeral Plans with your company.

    Totally don't do as they say . No communication. Left my dead father for a month without telling us what was happening after saying he would be cremated in 2 weeks . I made a complaint , it wasn't logged with head office had to chase it up myself weeks later as it wasn't even logged. They just don't seem to care about greiving relatives . Don't go here .

    Everything was very well planned out. My family were very pleased with the service as it was very comforting and catered to all our needs. We got the essential package and everything was included with no extra problems. We are very grateful for this funeral service.

    Don’t reply to emails 
    Last thing I needed after losing my father was to have to chase the funeral director over the phone because they never reply to emails

    From first contact to the cremation service everything was dealt with in a professional, friendly and caring way. The celebrant provided was very easy to talk to and really listened, finding out about his life and all the memories we had of Dad. The service was a true celebration of his life
