Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Care of driver, pall bearers on the day was exemplary. Their concern and the way they spoke helped us all. My sister wanted to help carry my mums coffin and they explained everything and she was able to do it because of their reassurance and guidance. Thank you is just not enough.

I can’t thank the staff enough for their empathy, kindness and compassion. Mum was treated with dignity and respect. Simon went above and beyond the call of duty by meeting our family after the parlour closed. June talked us through the process and helped us with all aspects of the arrangements. Five stars are not enough.

I was very happy with all aspects of the arrangements. Adjustments to the order of service were dealt with quickly. The delay due to holidays was nort a problem.

I needed my daughters help to send photos for the photo reflections but the result was excellent.

It was excellent service as I have come to expect from the Co-Op . June at the Erith office was great , explaining everything in detail if required. After booking the contact was relevant but not intrusive. On the day everyone performed thier duties exemplary. From family feedback everyone was extremely pleased with the funeral

At an extremely sad time for myself and my sister, it was nice having caring helpful staff to help us with our mums funeral. I would recommend the Co-op funeral care for everyone. They booked a celebrant for us, Her name was Nicola Hall, she along with the co-op staff were so compassionate. A big thank you for making an awfully sad day bearable.
