About Us

Rosedale Funeral Home is an independent family funeral directors, in Diss Norfolk.

Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.

Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.

Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Directors Richard, Christian and Charmaine bring a wealth of experience to Rosedale Funeral Home, with over 50 years of combined funeral experience.

Rosedale have a flexible approach to funeral arrangements and are able to offer a face to face arrangement at the office in their beautifully presented but practical arrangement rooms, in the
comfort of your own home or by telephone, Zoom or Skype.

Parking is available for visitors directly behind the funeral home and a separate disabled entrance is also available should it be required. Rosedale’s chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one is available on the ground floor.

Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. At Rosedale, the team believes that providing the very best of bereavement care goes hand in hand with helping you arrange a funeral for your loved one.

    I simply cannot recommend Rosedale enough !



    Absolutely first class service, so professional yet warm, kind and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. Rosedales made a day that my family and I were dreading into a day of gratitude and thanksgiving, especially Christian from Rosedale ...and not forgetting Pauline the Civil Celebrant ..and Emily Rose the florist, ...everything was perfect ..THANK YOU SO MUCH.

    Everything went very smoothly on the day when we were all needing to be in safe hands and Richard and the team at Rosedale did this for us. Thank you so much as I now it was unusual having the wake between the funeral and crematorium but it all went very seamlessly for us. Thank you.

    Excellent. Professional, friendly, caring and very patient.
    Nothing was too much trouble on the run up and on the day.
    Christian was wonderful and our driver Steve put up with our Irish music in the car. He was kind and caring. Amazing team. Highly recommend.

    A big thank you to Charmaine who helped us to organise the service for our mother Angela Rippingall, and took care of all the details including printing the service sheet, and tactfully offering suggestions when we needed help. As a result the cremation service went off so well and big thanks also go to Andrew Fairweather, celebrant, who took the service with great dignity and made us feel very calm and comfortable.

    It is such a terribly difficult situation you find yourself in and the idea of being able to arrange and get through the funeral seems impossible.
