Originally owned since the 1960’s by the Beeson family, this funeral home was bought by the Lymn Roses in 1994. This beautiful detached house has two visitation rooms, a reception room, cold room facilities and a small parking area.
AW Lymn's Bingham branch is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and closed on weekends, but can be open at other times by prior appointment.
Dominic Lister, who has worked at A W Lymn since 2009, is the funeral director responsible for this office and also lives locally.
Covering all of Bingham, this branch also serves its surrounding area including Barnstone, Carr Colston, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Flintham, Granby, Gunthorpe, Hickling, Harby, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Radcliffe, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and beyond.

Unfortunately A,W Lywn has degraded in service and lack of compassion. It is solely interested in the amount of money you can make rather than carting for the family or deceased. Along with the management having zero empathy or compassion. The embalmers lied on what they said there did saying they had cleaned and prepared the body for viewing and this wasn’t done. When complained to management, they didn’t care and just shrugged it off. Everything was for money. I wont use again. I will definitely be going to CO-OP funeral service next time.

I find it extremely disappointing that you have allowed three months to elapse before placing such an inaccurate review and making unfounded statements about the service provided by our family company. I do not view this funeral as indicative of “didn’t care and just shrugged it off” and I would suggest that if the other reviews for this office are examined it will be clear that your comments and 1* rating are completely unjustified.

Excellent doesn't seem enough praise for this absolutely wonderful service. Dominic made what was a real ordeal for me (my husband's death was unexpected) much easier than I thought it would be. He talked me through all my options until I felt comfortable with my choices and was so kind and respectful I really can't praise him highly enough. His 'team' was efficient and respectful and special thanks must also go to Lily, the celebrant, who gave a very moving address to send Rob on his final journey.
I will forever be grateful.
