This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

On the day of the funeral everything went like clock work . . and was handled brilliantly by the staff . . Ellen who looked after us was very gentle and compassionate. A good listener too - I waffled on about a load of rubbish most of the time and she was happy to sit and listen to me. I felt cared for and looked after - more importantly, I felt my husband was cared for and looked after and protected

My only disappointment was the car was leaking rain water as top door seal faulty on both right and left side . Did tell the driver and hope the maintenance people seriously look in to not very pleasant when it raining under such circumstances .thanks
