This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Polite, efficient and respectful service. A couple of hopefully constructive comments:
1. Having purchased a pre-paid Gold Service funeral plan approximately 4-5 years ago, very surprised to find that embalming was an extra cost.
2. Payment terms for additional items to pre-paid plan should be clarified at earliest stage and not late in the process possibly delaying critical items such as printing of Order of Service etc.

Danelle wAs very good and explained everything very clear the Funnral get very well the lady and gentlemen who took us to bramcote crem was lovely couldn’t do enough for us which I thank you all just one thing was wrong they got Joan’s birth date wrong on the service book it said first and her birthday is 11 th June xxx

I would like to thank all the staff at Co-op funeral care at Bulwell and also Lenton. My father died in a tragic accident and the people at co-op went above for us, in exceptional circumstances. The funeral has to be altered many times but with their help it went smoothly and was beautiful. Thank you all.
