This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

We were assisted by Ms Anne McGrath in arranging the funeral for my cousin Alex Wason. Honesty, I cannot praise Anne enough for her services. She helped with choosing flowers, layout of order of service cards and appropriate poems. We were kept informed every day, either by telephone or email, every step of the way. She even arranged the Minister and organist as well as booking the church.
We were also very well looked after by the funeral director, Alex, on the day. He had telephoned a couple of times before to inquire how we were and if there was anything we needed. On the day he looked after us as if we were family. Could not have asked for better
