I was left without a funeral director as he went on leave ( rightly so but without appointing anyone to help me of a sufficiently senior position) with only the receptionists at Rowlands Gill. His body went to a different place (Blaydon) which deeply upset his Mam. 
I got a letter adresses to me with my name spelled incorrectly 
I had no preemptive phone calls to look after me until I made a fuss and the Julie Pattison stopped in. Things got better for a bit and then… 
The order of service was initially badly designed 
I phoned up to check on how things / should work
And to add insult to injury the car I paid for turned up to the wrong address. And when I made a quiet point (it was not the time to make a fuss) I was told, in hearing of others, it was “just down the road” at Dean Ave rather than Low West Ave
No one needs to have to phone up to find out when the car is 7 to 8 mins late to find out where it is at.
I would say I would never recommend you again and the service I accepted was poor at best. 
You let me down at my most difficult days 
I have paid already the bill in full but I do not believe that which I have paid is deserving

Everything was handled the way my Mam wanted and I know she would have been happy with it. Sandra and the whole team helped when it was really difficult for us and made it a bearable experience

The colleagues were very respectful and sensitive. Nothing was a trouble to them, even staying open later to accommodate a relative who works full time and couldn't visit earlier.

Everyone was so lovely, and helpful. Nothing was a problem. Especially would like to thank Sandra Cutmore and Fiona De Pinna and Father Rosa. It's been a very sad time since my dad ( Peter Redpath) passed away. But the Coop at Blaydon helped us though every step.

The ladies from the funeral place could not have been anymore helpful in helping sort the funeral out and keeping in contact with myself all the way through from booking the funeral until the day of the funeral

We were pleased with the overall service and choices we were given so my dad's final journey was in keeping with what we thought he would like and incorporated all the memories and things he held dear. It was lovely to be able to share the ceremony with friends and family unable to attend through live streaming. Staff were very helpful and the service given by Adele was lovely .
