In loving memory of Phyllis Stathers who sadly passed away on 7th April 2018m
Phyllis and I met as teenagers. We were courting from the age of 17. Having built our first home together we married on the 7th September 1968. Phyllis loved sports. As a school girl she played hockey (goal keeper) and net ball. She loved horses and was a keen rider. Her love of dogs saw her showing Maltese Terriers. In 1981 at Cruffs, her dog was judged Best of Breed and was awarded Reserve Best Toy in the Toy Dog Group.
A wonderful wife who kept my feet firmly on the ground. We had a wonderful life together. Travelled twice around the world. Mauri Australia Malaysia Singapore all around Europe and the UK. Phyllis attended receptions at the House of Commons an Investiture and a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace and at a Gale Dinner met Princess Margaret.
Phyllis had a great sense of humour and a wicked whit. A friend of Phyllis was a friend for life.
She will be missed by all who new her.
