In loving memory of Julie Ann Williams who sadly passed away on 7th May 2018
Julie is survived by her husband Steve, sons Adam (& his partner Beth) and Daniel, parents June and Gordon Brickles, and sisters Joy (& husband Kevin) and Joanne (& partner Jeff).
Julie was born on 8th March 1962 the second of three girls born to June and Gordon Brickles. and lived in Slatch House Road, Smethwick throughout her childhood.
She attended Abbey Road Infants and Primary schools followed by Smethwick Hall Girls school.
On leaving school Julie worked as a Dental Assistant for a short time before working in the Personnel Office at Allied Bakeries site in West Bromwich from early 1979 to 1988. It was there that Julie met her husband Steve, marrying in June 1987.
Son's Adam, born in May 1988, and Daniel, born in March 1990, completed Julie's family. From this point Julie worked no more than part time - family always came first.
At the time of her death Julie had worked for Central England Co-op at their site in Spies Lane, Halesowen for the previous thirteen years. She enjoyed working there, loved her colleagues and interactions with customers.
Julie's family and friends were everything to her. She loved meeting up with family and friends, as long as She was not the centre of attention.
She loved travelling both in Europe and the USA and had plans to do far more.
Julie had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January 2018, had successful surgery in February, and had commenced chemotherapy in the week prior to her death. However, her death was sudden and unexpected with Julie suffering a Stroke on Saturday May 5th, and She passed away on Monday 7th May, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
A much loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a good friend to many.
Her life was shorter than she and everybody else would have wished, but the world was a much better place having her in it, and is much worse for her passing.
Beautiful inside and out, her passing will leave a huge chasm in so many peoples lives.

Funeral will take place on Wednesday 30th May at Stourbridge Crematorium time 11.40 am - funeral cortege leaving Kempsey Close at 11.10 am.
Donations in lieu of flowers to Stroke Association and Cancer Research UK.
All welcome afterwards at Halesowen Athletic & Cycling Club, Manor Way, Halesowen. B62 8RW for sandwiches, drinks and to exchange memories of Julie.
