What can I say about Stella and her life.
She did not have a very good life from birth until I met her in 1992 at a chance meeting in the royal British Legion In 1992 upon her first words to me were [ why don't you just piss off ] but as you can see I did not. Stella was very strong willed person who cared more about her close family, friends and neighbours than herself right up until the end.

When we first met she told me about the Cancer in her family and how she may contract it in the future, I think she was trying to put me off without success. We fought it together for 25 years until right up to her last breath. Now Stella was to me and I can safely say she was an inspirational person to all who new her.

She will be sadly missed by one and all but we all know she is still watching over us until we all meet again.

R.I.P. My darling wife and Mother and Grandmother. [Till we meet again ]

In loving memory of Stella Kathleen Valentine who sadly passed away on 25th September 2018

My special friend Stella. Loved coming to see you every week and giving you a hand. We had so many laughs together with our mischievous and wicked sense of humour. Will miss you so so much. Sleep tight my friend. Love you lots.xxxxx

I have known Stella so long that I cant remember a time when she wasn't in my life. She brought sunshine wherever she went and our days will all be a little dimmer without her.

God decided he needed a feisty little Angel. I hope he's ready for you Stella !
Sleep sweetly until we meer again. xxx

Having been friends with Stacey all my life, I don't remember a time before knowing Stella.
I remember the countless times we would all sit round the kitchen table having a chat. It felt so grown up to be included.
The overwhelming memory I will keep of Stella is her easy laugh and warm welcome. I don't remember ever hearing a cross word from her, only ever "darlin"

Now she is resting I hope she can see how loved she was and how she will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.

To my mum

The moment that you died
my heart was torn in two
one side filled with heartache
the other died with you.
I often lie awake at night
when the world is fast asleep, and
take a walk down memory lane
with tears upon my cheeks.
Remembering you is easy
I do it everyday
but missing you is heartache
that never goes away.

I wish I could see you one more time
Come walking through the door
But I know that is impossible
I will hear your voice no more.
I know you can feel my tears
And you don’t want me to cry
Yet my heart is broken because I can’t understand why
someone so precious had to die.

I pray that God will give me strength
And somehow get me through
As I struggle with this pain
That came when I lost you.

I hold you tightly within my heart
and there you will remain
until the joyous day arrives
that we will meet again

First met Stella through my wife but then girlfriend Anne, she was this little bubbly if at times gobby beauty with big hair. I took an instant liking to this lady and we had a special relationship, at times cussing and swearing and calling each other names, as only true friends can, that was 44 years ago ! We remained close, talking often, usually when she rang to talk to her buddy and I would answer the phone with what do you +++++++ want, why are you bothering me, Stella would come back with some derisory quip and demand that I pass the phone over.

Oh I will miss this lovely lady and our banter, as others surely will.

RIP beautiful girl, please don’t give the angels a hard time, till we meet again xxx

Your very own pain in the butt

David
