Anne and I offer our condolences to Diane and Chris and their families at this most difficult time. As Chairman of the Rover Sports Register, I have been asked to offer condolences on behalf of a number of members who knew Joan and Tony, but cannot be with us tomorrow. Mike Couldry, Adrian Mitchell, Tony Atkins; and Chris and Tim Moore who summarise the feelings of all the members who knew Joan:
So sorry to hear that Joan Holder has died. Well recall Belvoir in the 1980's when we used to get over from Belgium, then the AGM's in Allesley, Coventry, the Arbury Castle events etc.
Then all the Lakes Rallies and not forgetting the RSR 50th in 2003 in Blenheim....
Tony with Joan alongside represented a great deal of what built the RSR.
Please know we shall be thinking of her on 23rd July.

A strong, brave woman. The love she and Tony shared was an inspiration to those of us who were looking for love second time around. Although there would be many years between the times I saw Joan, she always gave me such a warm welcome. A lovely lady. My condolences to her family, and love and hugs to Di.
